LETTERS OF RECOGNITION
Through the
years OPINICUS has received
letters of appreciation for exceeding expectations and contract
requirements. OPINICUS is proud to provide a Team knowledgeable
and
proficient with virtually every simulator system and simulation
technology.
Below are three excerpts from Captain J.A. Bowlin, U.S. Navy, Director,
Rotary, Rotary Wing Aircraft, NAWC Aircraft Division; Mr. Brad Smith,
Government Technical Advisor, NAWCTSD; and Mr. Ron Smith, Test
pilot, and Director of Portland Operations and DO328 Training,
Fairchild Dornier - respectively.
1.) "... You (OPINICUS) has extended effort beyond normal
expectations to help the contractor (and government) recover from a
possible late delivery of the CH-53 APT to MCAS Tustin, CA. Prior
to the government team arrival for government inspection (GFI), you
(OPINICUS) assisted the contractor with many remaining visual systems
problems that had proved to be beyond the contractor with many
remaining visual systems problems that had proved to be beyond the
technical capabilities of the contractor staff... You (OPINICUS)
assisted contractor personnel with a visual system performance problem
that resulted int he eventual receipt of a software upgrade from the
visual system manufacturer, Evans and Sutherland, to enable
satisfactory visual scene refresh-rate performance. Without your
extraordinary effort and support in this matter, the government test
team could not have progressed with the successful GFI test phase.
Your (OPINICUS) management and technical skills and positive work ethic
are worthy of recognition...your willingness to accept responsibilities
above and beyond your contractual expectations reflect highly on
OPINICUS."
2.) "Especially noteworthy during test effort was the outstanding
assistance provided by subcontractor OPINICUS Corporation - Clearwater,
Florida. Were it not for the expertise provided, it is likely
that the GFI test effort would have been prematurely terminated."
3.) "What is remarkable to me is how flexible OPINICUS was when
working with us while we were in a heavy training period and how little
dedicated trainer time they needed. Now, since OPINICUS' upgrade,
the Portland Do328 simulator flies as much like the actual airplane as
any simulator I have ever flown."
