| MH60G Pre-Planned Product
Improvement (P3I): OPINICUS
provided the following services: Flight dynamics software update,
the replacement of the USAF MH-60G
OFT rotor/aero models with the USCG
HH-60J OFT models (NASA ARMCOMP), this includes; main and tail
rotor updates by replacing the current
MH-60G models with the HH-60J models, replaced all MH-60G rotor
coefficient data with appropriate data, modified any malfunctions and
integrated both models into the MH-60G load. In addition, we
replaced or modified the fuselage aero model, equations of motion,
transmission system, and automatic flight control system. We also
provided an engine selection capability (either the T700-GE-700 or
T700-GE-701C). Once the upgraded models had been integrated and
debugged by OPINICUS, we took
the trainer through formal subjective
and objective Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and pilot evaluation. B767: OPINICUS provided an update and rehost to an Encore 32/77 based Rediffussion FFS for Pan Am International Flight Academy (PAIFA). We designed, integrated and installed the necessary hardware and software modifications to the simulator to bring it through FAA Certification Level C (120-40B) as well as a new X-Window based instructor station. This includes hardware modifications to the analog control loading system and upgrades to the aerodynamic model, autoflight, and flight management systems to incorporate the latest Simulator Data Package revisions for this device. The Flight Management Computer modification involved integration of new FMCs with the latest PIP software and the addition of full ARINC 610 simulation functions. We provided an FAA ATG and necessary test guide driver modifications. We also developed four selectable engine simulations (GE CF6-80A, GE CF6-80C, PWJT9D-7R4, PW4000), as well as integrating the appropriate EICAS computers for each of the four selectable engine types. Bell Helicopter-Textron: We delivered a turn-key program consisting of three fully integrated high-fidelity electric control loading systems for the OH-58, XV-15 and COBRA engineering simulators. In addition, we designed, developed, installed a fully integrated Real-Time I/O system for the OH-58. All of the systems utilized Real-Time SCRAMNET and Real-Time ethernet interfaces. NATCO 6 FFS: We completed work on six full-flight simulators (747-400, 747-300, 757, A320, two DC9s) and two fixed-base simulators (747-400, A320) for Northwest Training. We provided the hardware and software design, integration, test, customer acceptance, and FAA Certification for the aerodynamics, autoflight, control loading and aircraft systems and instructor stations on all simulators and additionally the black box fly-by-wire system on the A320. |
