AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Position: Salaried; Full-Time. Salary commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Design, Implementation, Analysis, and Documentation of flight simulator software for aircraft systems.
Develop Test Procedures.
Participate in Customer and Engineering Design Reviews.
Must Be Able to Analyze Project Requirements; Prepare Technical Presentations; Design Research; Write and Contribute to Proposals.
This job requires TRAVEL
Skills:
Proficiency in C and FORTRAN required; C++ and Ada desired.
Experience working with Unix/Linux Operating Systems desired.
Knowledge of aircraft systems to include but not limited to: avionics, fuel, powerplant, landing gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, ice and fire protection.
Adept at solving complex problems with limited relevant data.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Can work independently with little guidance or supervision.
Years experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in related field.
Simulation experience preferred.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
